The singletrack here connects to the Hinkson rail-trail which runs through Grindstone and a few miles west to the MKT rail-trail which then goes southwest to the Katy Trail. Great fun on a cross bike while linking a longer ride on the gravel paths. Popular hiking area and dog park.
Directions
The Grindstone-Capen Park area is located about a quarter of a mile south of the Stadium Blvd. - Old Hwy 63 intersection in southeast Columbia. You can access the trails from the Grindstone (east) side on Old 63, or from the Capen Park (west) side on Rock Quarry Road.
