This state forest's 15-mile network of hiking and biking trails winds through 2,505 acres of rugged Ozark topography. Beginners will enjoy riding along the roads paralleling Woods Fork and Camp Creek. Adventurous beginners looking for more rugged stuff could try the two trail loops north of Camp Creek in the western end of the forest. Trail surfaces include gravel road near the highway, double-track roads along the creek in the western part, and super crazy rocky climbs and downhills. These trails are located 20 miles south of Springfield, MO and about 15 minutes north of Branson.

Directions

Take Highway 65 south from Springfield or north from Branson. Exit is on the east side of the highway.
